I love it when a builder calls me up out of blue (pun intended) to bring me into their world of innovation. Last week I invested a few hours on site with JIGSAW BLUE's Scott Wilson an industrial designer by profession who is leading a high performance building charge along with partners Cory Krygier a professional architect and Wade Butler finishing carpenter turned green construction professional. Back from Greenbuild

Jigsaw Homes took in Greenbuild this year in Toronto and as always we came back charged up about what we are doing here in Calgary. Greenbuilding is gaining momentum all over North America and is the only sector of the construction industry to be showing strong gains in a weak economic environment. We discovered many new and interesting products that we are now evaluating. Some of these will likely start showing up in some of our new homes very soon.
